Korte Design Oy, business ID: 3304861-7, address: Heikkiläntie 60, 32430 Ylhäinen, sells products to companies and adults within the EU. These terms and conditions apply to orders placed in our online store and corresponding deliveries.

These terms and conditions are valid from July 15, 2023. We may change the delivery terms unilaterally from time to time, so please review our delivery terms each time you order products from our online store.

Products and product prices

The features and prices of products in the online store are presented in the product description for each product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs, so please check the prices in your shopping cart before confirming your order. Product prices include taxes (24% VAT), which are shown in the shopping cart and order confirmation.

Delivery costs

Any delivery costs charged for your order depend on the product itself (e.g., weight, packaging) and the delivery method selected, and are automatically added to the total amount of your order. You can see the delivery costs charged for your order in your shopping cart before you confirm your order. We offer free delivery for orders over €200.

Ordering and agreement

You can order products from our online store by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming your order, and paying for the contents of your shopping cart via the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to read and agree to our current terms of delivery. You understand that your order, which you have accepted and we have confirmed, is binding, except as mentioned below regarding the right of cancellation, and creates an agreement between us in accordance with these delivery terms.

Payment and payment methods

You can pay for your order using the payment methods described in the online store and available in the shopping cart. Online payment services are provided by Paytrail Oyj.

Order and payment confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address, so please provide your email address when placing your order. The order confirmation also confirms the payment method used.

If, for some unexpected reason, we are unable to confirm your order, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.

Delivery methods

We will deliver your order using one of the delivery methods listed on our website, which you can select when placing your order. The available delivery options are Posti Oyj and Postnord Oy.

Delivery time

Our most common delivery times in Finland are 2-5 days, depending on the order and delivery method (products in stock). For urgent matters or to check stock availability, please contact us by email or phone.

Right of cancellation and return policy

If you are a consumer, you have the right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act to cancel your order by notifying us no later than 14 days after receiving the goods or the last batch of goods, or, in the case of regular deliveries of goods, after receiving the first batch of goods.

The cancellation notice must be sent clearly to our email address info@kortedesign.fi or by written notice accompanying the goods to be returned.

The right of cancellation applies only to products that are returned in their original packaging, unused, and properly packaged for return shipping.

If the transaction is canceled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after the cancellation notice has been made to our return address below. If necessary, the returner must prove that the goods have been returned within the specified time, for example, with a return receipt. The returner must pay the costs of the return (shipping fee of 9.90 €). These costs will not be refunded to the returner.

When returning a delivered order, please include your name, contact details, and account number for the refund.

We will refund the money you paid for the order without delay in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Shipment check up, errors, and problems

Please check your delivery immediately upon receipt. If a product has been lost or damaged during transport, or if it does not correspond to your order or is otherwise faulty, please notify our customer service as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after delivery, so that we can agree on how to rectify the error. In consumer sales, we comply with the mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act regarding errors.

Limitation of liability

Korte Design Oy is not liable for any indirect, direct, or other damage related to an order, delivery, or product, or caused by any of the above, except to the extent that a mandatory provision in the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law provides otherwise with regard to the damage in question.

Disputes

We aim to resolve any disputes concerning your order primarily through agreement, so please contact our customer service first to resolve the matter.

If a dispute concerning a sales agreement cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) for resolution. Before referring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the consumer advice service of the local register office (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi)
