Korte Design Oy's customer register. Register and data protection description in accordance with sections 10 and 24 of the Personal Data Act (523/1999).

Korte Design Oy's online store at www.kortedesign.fi processes personal data provided by customers, which fulfills and confirms the terms of use, electronic orders and deliveries, and the necessary communication of information within the time required by law.

Basis and purpose of data processing

The person has registered as a customer of Korte Design Oy or purchased a product from Korte Design Oy.The purpose of the register and data processing is to maintain Korte Design Oy's customer register, process and archive customer orders, and manage customer relationships. The register is also used to track lost orders. The data may be used to develop Korte Design Oy's operations, for statistical purposes, and to produce more personalized content on our online services. Personal data is processed within the limits permitted and required by the Personal Data Act.

The data in the register may be used in Korte Design Oy's own registers for targeting advertising without disclosing personal data to third parties. Korte Design Oy may use partners to maintain customer and service relationships. Some of the data in the register may be transferred to the servers of partners due to technical requirements. The data is processed solely for the purpose of maintaining Korte Design Oy's customer relationships through technical interfaces.

Korte Design Oy has the right to publish the information contained in the customer register in electronic or written form, unless the customer specifically prohibits this. A list refers to, for example, mailing labels for direct mail. The customer has the right to prohibit the publication of data by notifying the register administrator by email

Disclosure of information

The information in the customer register is only used by Korte Design Oy, except when it uses an external service provider to provide value-added services or to support credit decisions. However, the data will not be disclosed outside Korte Design Oy or for the personal use of our partners, except in matters related to credit applications, debt collection, or invoicing, and when required by law. Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union unless it is necessary to ensure the technical implementation of Korte Design Oy or its partner.Third parties processing the customer's personal data are subcontractors of the Data Controller. The services of these subcontractors are necessary for the performance of the contract between the controller and the customer for the purchase and processing of electronic orders.

The controller's subcontractors are:

• Webnode AG (online store system);
• Freight company
• Google Analytics (website analytics);

The personal data of registered persons will be deleted at the user's request unless legislation, open invoices, or collection measures prevent the deletion of the data.

Protection of the register

The register will not be disclosed to third parties. Access to the register requires user rights to Korte Design Oy's internal network. The register is located on Korte Design Oy's password-protected server.

These rules will come into force on September 29, 2023.
